George Mason - Executive Director
After serving from 2006 to 2008 as the volunteer part time interim Executive Director,  Pastor George was called to be the part time Executive Director in 2008 when he semi-retired after 31 years of parish ministry. From 1980 to 2005 he served over 12 years on the Board of Directors. He chaired almost every committee and task force at one time or another. He led Fishing Camp for many years. Together, he and his wife (Pr. Ardelle Mason) served as the summer Naturalist in 2002 and coordinated chaplains for several years. He is a graduate of Penn State (BS Forestry/emphasis: forest recreation) and worked briefly as an industrial forester. He followed a call into ordained ministry, graduating from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 1977. He has two grown daughters, one of whom served four years on summer staff (2002 to 2005).  Pr. George lives in the Somerset area.
 

Ang Illar - Program Director
After attending the staff-in-training program as a teen in 2001, Ang was hired to serve on the Sequanota summer staff from 2002 to 2006 in various positions including as lifeguard and wilderness adventure staff. In 2008, Ang returned as Sequanota's part-time Program Director. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (BS Education).  She has led children's recreational programs in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.  Ang lives on site.

Laura Waltermire - Office Assistant
During the spring of 2003 Laura joined the staff as a part time office assistant.  She served on summer staff from 1996 to 2000.  She is a graduate of IUP majoring in Management Information Systems.   Laura lives on a farm near New Centerville.

Ann Ferry - Office Assistant
In early 2003 Ann joined the staff as a part time office assistant.  Prior to this she was a camp volunteer.  She attended the “We Care” camps Ann and her husband Randy live in the Somerset area.  They are the parents of two college age sons. 

Dawna Horner - Food Service and House Keeping Director
Dawna joined the staff as Food Service and Housekeeping Manager in 2004. From 1987 to 1989 she was a part time office worker.  Then from 1990 to 1998 Dawna served on staff as a part time cook. Prior to returning to Sequanota she held other food service positions in the area.  Dawna and her husband, Harvey live near Thomas Mills.  They have one daughter and two sons.  

Mike Pluta - Maintenance Director
Mike started working as the full time as Maintenance Director in the spring of 1985.  Prior to joining the staff he owned a plumbing business in Virginia.  Before that he worked for an electrician and a plumber.  He is responsible for the year round maintenance of the camp.   He is certified to take care or our sewage treatment plant, pool testing, handling of pool and other chemicals and pesticide applications.   He has four grown children (two sons and two daughters) and two grandchildren.  Mike lives in Jenners.

Bev Bruening - Bookkeeper
Bev was hired as the part time bookkeeper in 2003.  She has her own bookkeeping business out of her home in Sipesville.
