Camp Sequanota Celebrates 75 years of Ministry!

Letter Announcing 75th Celebration

Dear Sequanota nation,

It is my honor to announce some BIG news for this summer. Sequanota is celebrating its birthday this year. Sequanota is 75 years old this summer. There have been 75 years of kids coming to camp through the gate into this holy mountain retreat.

What: Weekend Celebration - fellowship, campfires, recreation, hikes, pool time
When: June 24-26, 2022
Cost: $10-$200+ (depending on meal and lodging selections)

All of the our past camp directors and their families have been invited back for the weekend. All camper and staff alumni are invited for a reunion and to set their feet upon this beautiful site to connect again. We will share stories of our history and look to the future of this impactful ministry. But there is lots of time left in the schedule to sit, renew and enjoy conversations with camp friends. There will be activities for families and kids, while also providing space for adults to rest in the midst of our busy lives. The goal of the weekend is to do what Sequanota does best - "connect Christ, creation and community." As we share meals around the picnic table, hike along the streams, or sit under a shade tree singing along to camp's favorite songs; we invite you to nourish your spirit by joining us for a wonderful weekend!

There are cabins (economical choice) and Bowersox Center hotel rooms (comfortable choice) available for the weekend. We do expect to fill up for this celebration. Registration opens in March. Sequanota has Facebook and Instagram pages where we will be gathering memories, photos, and other musings throughout the spring and early summer. If you use social media, follow us and join in the fun of telling your Sequanota stories. Or you are also invited to write a 'Dear Sequanota" letter to be added to our collection (due April 15th) that shares how Sequanota has impacted your life while sharing a few memories. We hope you will be able to join us for this great weekend!
